Default Sick discus, not eating, white stuffs on body

I'm new to discus and looking for advice on how to treat a very sick fish. I bought five discuses online a month ago and one of them wasn't in a good shape when I first got it. I already try Prazipro, API General Cure and so far it doesn't seem to get better. Today I notice some cotton-like thingy on both side of the body of the fish. Is this fungus? Please help! Thanks.

    Tank size: 55 gallons
    Water change: 2x a week, 50%
    Reading: ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0

In addition I would like to see pics of the other discus and tank itself Do You have plecos in that tank? If so what kind?. Also you mentioned you tried prazipro and general cure? Can you tell me how you used these and for how long?

A general comment.. thar fisb looks like it has a bacterial gill disease . Its also possible its just a physical detail.. one reason why I want to see other fish in the tank. From the shot you posted I get the impression the fish is thin.. a head on shot would help

I realize its alot to ask for info but it can be the difference between being able to help you or not with this issue.

If these siamese algae eaters have any size to them they could be eating off that fishes sides. Especially since its not feeling well...it won't be as active...so watch for that.

Api general cure is just prazi and metronidazole. You should stop all the prazi now as its not going to help... metro is really not either. Can you move this fish to a hospital tank and treat with seachem polyguard?
