    Default male's eating eggs

    2 weeks ago this pair produced wiggler. They were there one day, gone the next.
    Today I watching them and as the female lays her egg the male is right behind her
    but instead of doing what he should he eats them right away.
    Is he a lost cause as a breeder or will this eventually go away?
