    Default exosing to air

When doing a w/c how long can the eggs be ok between emptying out and refilling?
I am planning on doing a 95% w/c on one tank where the fish spawned today.
They laid the eggs on the air lift pipe of my hydro 5 sponge. I can lay it down in the
2 inches of water that's left but I would rather not for fear I would freak out the pair and then they would
    eat the eggs.
Between siphoning out and refilling is about 15 min.
    What do you all think?

Jay I would mess with the tank as little as possible. Minimal water change to remove wastes but if you stress the pair they will eat the eggs.
