Mike I just breezed through it and have to say those are some terrible looking discus in the video. All look emanated. Way too thin. Look like petco discus.

It wasn’t about the quality of discus more about the history of the hobby….

Is it me or did the host do a double take when the guest said Focker? I remember Bleher from the old TFH magazines, they were always covering him and Alexelrod's travels to the Amazon.

Mike I hear you. But how can you do a video about the history and put up pictures of such poor quality discus. Looks like he borrowed them from FF and all these other “let me make a discus utube video”. How can you believe it when it’s obvious it’s just being made for views!!

Yeah- they were poor quality discus... I was more interested in hearing the history of the hobby. Also, the child in me liked the name "focker"

I met Heiko in Atlanta. He was kind and he supported me and my fish. He told me that I had the Grand Champion hours before the judging began. He started collecting South American fish with his mother when he was very young if I remember right. I am amazed at all he has done and only a small part is documented! Here is an interview I found online. https://www.thelothianfishkeeperchan...er_15.html?m=1
