    Default Another discus stocking question

Newbie here and wanted to ask when I stock my tank (80 gallon with barely a sand layer, drift wood with Anubias and some moss and java fern attached), would I do ok as a newbie with 8 - 4" discus or 6 - 5" discus? or would there not be much difference in terms of care level between those two size options? I know it is recommended to go as large as possible as they are a bit less sensitive to water parameters. Thanks !!

Depends on how much space the driftwood takes up. If you are a newbie, I would suggest 6-5". There is a learning curve (you are at the right place) involved and the 5" would be stronger as you wrote.
