    Default Wiire cage

    I have to make 2 cages today. How far from the cone should the cage be.? 1/8",1/4"?

    I make mine snug against the bottom of the base

    Brian, thank you for the reply.
    You are probably using a cone. I am using a 2" pvc pipe. How far away is the wire from your set up
    that will give me an idea about how far I should position it from the pipe.

    1/2 " to 1" is fine Jay.. You want them to not be able to eat the eggs. Just be sure the tank has good aeration. Also make sure they can't move the screen ..they will bump into it in some cases if they really want to get to the eggs to protect them .

    Thanks Al. Just the info I needed. BTW, got the discus chow Tues AM . Gave them there first feeding
    at 2 just to make sure they were a little hungry. No need to slowly introduce them to the food, they
    hammered it immediately .
