These are fry from blue snakeskins

I will post pics as the grow. Right now they are eating my pellets and bbs shrimp. I offer the pellets all the time and bbs 3 times a day. I found that its a great way to train them to take pellets at a young age. They will pick at them initially and then go right to them when fed.

I figured about 3 weeks. They look perfect for their age. I look forward to a 4 week pic when they round out even more.

HI JIm,
Yes all are the same spawn, some will be snakeskins and others will be turqs. I have to cull a few that are just not growing as well as the others and will probably make that determination latter this week.

I will never get tired of watching discus fry. They look terrific, congratulations! Big achievement of getting fry from the old guy.
Looking forward to see them grow.

bTW, I see some that have a more of a golden shade than others. Do you expect them to be different?

Hi Freddy, Thanks! I am not 100% sure what I will get here color wise. I know the genetics of the male to a T as its my line of several generations. The Female is a blue snakeskin from Chicago Discus so though I would think the offspring would be normal, I really can't tell yet...which Is why I haven't culled except a few very weak ones.
