    Default Some old homebred snakeskins..

Just some pics from one of my tanks. The bigboy here in the pack is the father of 2018 growout contest fish. The others are some of siblings of the contest fish.

Hi Pat.. these are the snakeskins from the pair. The pair throws snakeskins and turqs. I have the turqs in another tank.. Theres no wild blood in this group. These fish are from the same batch you got in the contest Pat.

Nice snakeskins Al, just curious is better 14 bars snakeskins x 9 bars leopard or 18 bars snakeskins x 18 bars snakeskins ( Super Panthera x Super Panethera)?

    Thanks Francis,
Im afraid I dont know much of the Genetics of the Pantheras ...I haven't bred any. Brian might be able to add his experiences as our resident spotted breeder.

The only snakeskins I have bred are 14 bar.

From my experience, I've gotten a larger percentage of LSS when breeding LSS to Leopard. I would assume the same thing is true about Panthera's, which makes the loss of my Panthera Leopard even more depressing.

But, I've seen some interesting results from my Ruby Red. x Meteor as far as the Leopards they produce. Here's a couple of Cary's I sent him. It not only resembles a Panthera Leopard, but a Ring Panthera Leopard, lol...
