His royal highness, Sparkle Taco the First, won the December photo contest for my local aquarium society and scored me a cool $25 gift card. In tribute, here’s some snapshots I’ve taken of my favorite $3 fish over the past few months!

The judges for the home show today thought he was ten years old - they didn’t believe me when I said he was the size of a dollar coin when we got him back in, what was it, August?! And he just keeps growing! I suspect he’s going to inherit the 55 from the discus at this rate.
