Thanks for the update. I've had people asking me questions on availability. I'm pretty well stocked up at the moment but I'll pass this info along.
Great food for our discus and best of luck for the farm!
HI all,
Its really been an up and down few years here with Stock. We have gone through some really long periods where my access to stock has been severely limited. I am afraid that we are in one of those periods again. I have been waiting now for stock for 6 weeks and my last update from the farm was not good. Due to extreme Heat at the Farm they are experiencing a really poor growing season. As a result they are extremely backed up. Its gotten so bad that even shipping live worms in Australia is problematic and they are experiencing power grid issues to make matters worse.

What this means for us is it could be a long time for stock. I am being told that it could be as long as 2 months more. They will of course ship sooner if they can. Currently I have very little stock left. No Bio-pigment, No spinach. What is on my website as stock is what I have. Please do not ask for special pricing if you buy several smaller bags.. I am hopeful customers will be considerate of others as I have no way to limit quantities.
Understand that ALL Australian Freeze Dried Blackworms come from one Farm and only one Farm https://blackworms.com.au/ I doubt it will help our supply issues much but at the very least it may serve to let the Farm know that you rely on these worms and appreciate all they do to get them to you. I am sure its a rough time there right now and they are coping as best they can. They have always provided us with an awesome product. It wouldn't hurt to let them know its appreciated here.
I really wish I had better news. Its going to be a very difficult few months.

Second Prize came in handy. My wife asked what did I win. Just a bunch of worms, she thought I was kidding.

HI all,
I wanted to give an update on stock. I currently have the following left.
7 each 200 grams loose
5 each 100 grams loose.
Those of you not familar with the loose... where a cube is pressed under water to stick to the glass or is hand held..The loose worms will float for awhile. Some people soak the loose worms first, which will work but can leach nutrients from the water.if you soak too long..definitely do not use hot water and it can leach healthy fats and lipids from them
What I do is take a small amount in my hand, Put my hand under water and squeeze, then open my hand and scatter the worms, many will stay submerged. I also will drop them in the outflow of a power filter if I am rushed...but usually use the hand method. My current group of wild greens prefer the loose so this is what I have been doing and it works well.
hth,
al

I squeeze the loose under the water line of the tank and then press against the glass. On the acrylic with the sump I soak for a wile.

Thank you!! Got my worms today! I’ve use mostly loose. I find much less aggression when it’s floating all over compared to the cubes where they are all fighting to get to the cube and bitting the hairs on my arm!
I should have some stock next week. Its a limited amount but I will take what I can get. I will not be openning the cart for ordering backordered fdbw as its a head ache and refunds cost me money in fees. However, I am keeping a list of customers .. pm me here or message me through the storefront. Let me know what you need. ..please include full contact info so I can reach you .Max amount is 200 gram bag .. sorry, no exceptions.

Is any of the new stock bio-pigment?
I'm glad I got the last of the 100g bags when I did. I'm cutting down on more expensive foods, in favor of homemade and home cultured foods, so 100g. lasts me a long time. They got some this evening, though. They eat everything I feed them, but they only go into a food frenzy over their black worms.
