Chlorella

Hi all,
Any of you have an active Culture of Chlorella going for one of your other tanks/live foods? I'm hoping to find some. I can buy it online but its either really out of wack pricing or seems sketchy as to what people are really selling. I need to start a few cultures for my various projects.

Ended up buying a starter culture on ebay. So far so good. Never thought I would intentionally try to make my aquarium water green lol..

Just in time for St.Patrick's Day

I should be able to culture daphnia,moina, and rotifers soon.

Time will tell.

Hi Pat,
Yes .. green water algaes like chlorella are food for other critters. So once I have a good greenwater culture I can culture other live foods.

How are you fertilizing the water, Al?

The seller I bought the culture from included a tiny vial of crystalized fertilizer which looked alot like miracle grow general plant food. So since I had a diluted miracle grow solution already from other projects thats what I decided to use

sorry i missed this, I have one ive been running for over a year.

i use fritz pro F/2 Algae Food part A and B to feed the culture
