Beautiful RSG and also great photography. I thought you've had these in the past but I don't remember how long ago. Have they passed and if so how long did they live?

Thank you Rick, one of my first groups of wilds was Tefe Greens. I think the female of the one pair was with me about 5/6 years.

Beautiful discus, there's something special aboul wilds that all the great colors of the breeder discus can't match.

About two or so years Jacob, so much has happen in the last couple years, I lost my mom to covid in Jan 2020, lost my dad a year and a month later. Then early last year went thru my parent's house and put it on the market. Then my hubby's health failed middle of last year and I am still his caregiver. Please forget the fog. Been a wild last couple of years.

I wish I had bred them, Pat, but alas I purchased them. And it was a quite a while ago, before cell phone cameras. I did take some pathetic kodaks of them but got a lot of glass glare not much else. I did breed some F1 wild Icas that I purchased, or at least that's what I'm told they were. I'm suspect. The fish I got from them looked like domestics and I rehomed most of them.

Thank you Al and what is weird is I have never had a group of RSGs. I have had wild greens where one or two had some red spots so I'm going to agree with you big time

Is it safe to say gimaal that domestics just do not have the same allure as wilds. I have kept domestics but after awhile I get bored with them and some lucky local person gets some nice fish

Tom and I went to our daughters house for dinner and I must say upon returning to the house this evening the RSGs simply looked stunning. I can hardly wait to get them into some RO/tap mix and they will really show us what they are made of.

Super excited seeing you back in the game after a rough few years. I can understand where you're coming from with things being a fog with so much going on - my wife and I have been in the same boat since 2020 and we only rarely get to have time for ourselves these days. Unfortunately, I'm still stuck in the 'too busy' category. I have hope that one day things will turn around and I can get back into the discus hobby.

Thanks Jake and I hear you on the "too busy". Hope you can make some life changes (I know, not always possible) and apply a little KISS to the life style and see you also get back into the discus hobby.
