Pat, are you sure they are mollies? If they are guppy-size and in a lake, where they have plenty of growing room and insects and algae to dine on, I'd expect them to be larger. I'm wondering if what you are seeing are Gambusia which are Florida natives.

Back to my wild sailfin Molly search. The guy at Floridapets never replied to my email despite the telephone call. I took a gamble on an ebay seller for 2 pairs. Contacted the seller and asked if they had 2 males and 2 females... seller said yes. Day of shipping I get a refund for 2 of them. Says they got eaten by other fish
Bad news while getting these out to ship I found that I only had to mollies because I had put some Bantams in the tank with them not thinking the bantams were big enough, but I guess that didn’t matter. They ate two of the mollies.
I messaged again. " are they a male and female
    They appear so
. Not exactly a definitive. So the " pair "is delivered in breather bags.. ..both dead. I ordered some fresh water ghost shrimp as well. Sent in two bags. One breather bag split open at the side... dead in the box. Probably one of the worst packing jobs I have seen..

Sooo.. anyone down south want to catch me some nice healthy and Alive Sailfin Molly i would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry to hear this, Al. Infuriating.

Have you tried 'swampriveraquatics' on aquabid? He collects in the wild. He currently has listings for the most beautiful line of spotted Gambusia, bred from wild stock, that I've ever seen, and also a listing for N class Endlers. But he normally also has listings for gorgeous wild caught saiifin mollies. I bet he has some around and/or will be offering more soon.
