Default Always float your fish before adding them

Its always a good idea to float your fish before adding them to a tank. It lets them come to the same temperature as the tank. Less chance of shock.

Sometimes its just easier to float them all at once...tank and all.

Thought some might get a laugh out of it.

It sure beats trying to net and move them all though. just float and dump the whole tank.

Being practical here guessing that is a 10 gallon tank which full weighs about 80 plus pounds so guessing you emptied the tank some prior to lifting it into the larger tank? Sorry, engineer in me is strong

nah...80 pounds is nuthin for me. however its not good for the tank to be moved with alot of water in it..so I drain it about 3/4....then slowly add water from the bigger tank to it until equalized. Sounds more complicated than it is.
