These are being identified as Tefe Greens. I don't see it. Do you?

It’s really hard to tell since their color is so washed out and they’re stressed. A couple look more like browns to me but I am FAR from experienced at ID’ing wild discus

Among other things it's the lack of color and pattern in the anal fin. A red spotted pattern in the anal is diagnostic for S. tarzoo and these are not only lacking the spots, they are lacking any color and pattern in that fin except for a bit anteriorly on some.

Hi Aaron, I suspect they are greens but they are really pale. Where are these guys? Also guessing they were recently shipped based on a ragged tail.

Good sleuthing, Pat. These are screen grabs of 'Tefe Greens' Gabe has now but the video was shot when they first came in, 4 months ago. What about the lack of color in the anal fins? That would completely vanish when they are stressed?

I guess it could Aaron. Gabe does not exactly have a stellar reputation when it comes to discus. There is no telling what a sewer pit these guys are swimming in.

    Wow. How sad.

OK, try this one. This is a local (Long Island) shop that also does on-line business. These are identified as "Yellow Lake Tefe." That's a new one on me. Don't know if they are from Gabe, but again, no trademark Tefe Green pattern in anal fin.
