I've got one pair of rams in a jungle of a tank and when pulled their eggs last time I think they decided they shouldn't spawn on the terracotta dish anymore. I'm sure they've spawned since, but I don't know where they'd doing it. Tricky little things.

Yep.. this pair has a 20 long to themselves and theres a terra cotta dish in each corner.. so of course they spawn on an oak leaf in the middle of the tank behind a sponge filter.

In anycase though the good news is the eggs all look great today.

Maybe laying on an oak leaf is some of those wild genes expressing themselves.

I just moved a pretty big spawn of wigglers back with my pair. Hopefully they don't eat them 24 hours after they go free swimming like they have been.
Will be interesting to see what these crossings of yours produce!
