    Exclamation Discus Not Eating

I bought 6 discus fish for my tank. 5 of them are now okay they eat from the bottom and also come up to eat when I feed them but this one I haven't seen him eating he keeps hiding behind one stone. He also gets bullied by one or the other. Bought them on around March 22.

I suggest moving the fish to a hospital tank and raising the temp to 90 to 93. It sounds like hex, and sometimes heat alone works to rid the fish of the parasite. Keep us informed. If heat alone doesn't work it will be time for metro.

In addition to Liz’s suggestion it sounds like it’s being bullied and according to your other post you have ammonia, nitrites and high nitrates in your water. The combo is stressing this guy out. Follow Pat’s suggestions with your water quality and see if that helps, but if it’s still noting eating in a day or so do what Liz suggested
