Hey Ardan, I spent about 10 years in the welding field. I use to do a lot of shipyard work, building Carriers and subs...................it was alot of work but kind of fun at the same time. At least at the end of the day you could look back see what you had acomplished........Randy

Ok first I am a carpenter, have been since 1962
Aslo from 1980 to 2000 commercial fished salmon May and June out of SanFrancisco then June to Novemger albacore tuna from Mexico to Canada up to 1,200 miles off shore , did construction work in the winter.
Sold the boat in 2000 even though I made a lot more money fishing I just got tired of being away from home half of the year.
I have one and a half years to go to retire from the carpenters union

I'm a manufacturers rep for construction & hardware  related materials. ???  I sell nuts & bolts, ladders, rope. chain, rivets, ect. If you all go in a Home Depot or Lowes that's the kind of stuff.  Been doing it since 1982, owned the joint since 1987.  Great thread April ;D

Hi all,
I'm the Manager of the Receiving dept at a 3000 room casino(Treasure Island) on the fabulous Las Vegas strip. Anything that comes into the hotel, comes across my dock to get counted, checked for quality, and signed for.  I also help out in our Warehouse and anything else that needs doing in the hotel.  I have a blast at work and my staff is the best in the city(I'm biased, of course)
