I really like the substrate, looks really natural!
Discus and rays look awesome of course lol.

tank is a 180 6x2 tank. Substrate is just pool filter sand. Love that stuff.

What strain are the discus and where did u buy from?

I had a blue heckel which I just sold, wild reds and green tefe. Got them from Snook. I am going to get more when he gets his new shipment in.

I am still waiting for him to update when he gets it in. He has some in stock right now but he is getting different wilds in soon. Thats as much as I know.

I had heard of other hobbyists' bad experience of discus / angels being eaten by rays in the comm tank

photos are shot with flash off shoe with a diy bounce diffuser made out of post cards. yeah mix reviews on mixing these guys mix. They been fine for 2 months now. Will keep it that way until problems occur.
