    Default Dreaded White Worm?

Well about three hours ago I had just finished another water change and we were sitting looking at the fish and right in front of us swam ;- White worm approx 1" long,
about as thick as a piece of thread, swimming near top of water (in a snakelike fashion but vertically). Couldn't catch it in time and we think it dissapeared into the internal sponge filter system. Can't see any more anywhere.
Been reading through past threads but not sure if this is a harmless creature or not.
    Any ideas appreciated.
    Regards.

I think you should just keep an eye on them for the time being. Usually discus pass dead worms.
