Use a 10 gallon tank or smaller with marbles as a base. The marbles will alow the eggs to be protected from the parents. Make sure your water is slightly acidic and about 76F. Use a sponge or box filter in the aquarium.
Place nice rotund fish in the 10 gallon. When you note the female is slimmer or a whitish slime on the surface, begin testing for eggs by using a cooking baster to draw some of the water from the marbles. View the water through a strong light. If you have eggs they should be barely visbile.
Remove the parents and begin feeding baby brine.
Your tetras are probably spawning in your tank. You just have to figure a way to protect the spawn.

I recalled reading somewhere that you are suppose to keep the eggs in complete darkness until they hatched? Not sure if there are any truth in this but you can do some research for it.
Cheers,
Chi.
