HOW MUCH FOOD IS TOO MUCH FOOD / HELP WITH MY COLOR
I have 11 discus in one 125 gallon tank. Six are approx.
4 1/2" and five are approx. 3 - 3 1/2". The question I have is how much should I be feeding them and how many times a day. When I feed Whatley's discus for example I use two cubes. When I feed bloodworms I use a piece about
1 " x 3/4 ".
Also any suggestions on food(s) that will help bring out there colors would be appreciated. Red and blue seems to be the dominant colors in most of the fish. I also have 3 large pieces of driftwood in the tank. Does all of this dark brown wood have an effect on there colors showing?
Thanks in advance for your response.

If they gobble all the food down and are looking for more increase the amount. If food is still on the bottom after 10 minutes you are feeding too much.

I would also reccomend tetra Color Bits, and Azoo Discus Blue color enhancer food. Both available at Drs. Foster and smith Pet Warehouse. Frank

I agree, mixing color bits with the diet works very well. I just wish my new wild discus would eat the color bits :'( Oh well, they seem to be enjoying the live worms right now.
