Default raising the gh with seachem gh

I recently checked my gh and found it to be on the low side, 3 degrees my ph is at a constant 6.7 out of the tap so i was wondering if anyone has ever tried to increase the gh with seachem florish plant food? I only ask because i have some around the house and was curious if raising the gh to say 5 or six if this would help growth.

I know that most breeder grow out their juvs in harder water but I believe that they just use their tap water and do not bother adjusting! As for growth, I dont think that it would improve growth.

I would not recommend adding anything. It may affect ph and then you introduce water parameters swings and the such. Its not worth the pain imo! The most important aspect in any fish hobby is constant water parameters all the time (of course wherever possible).
