Hey Willin, Well to be perfectly honest that Discus was sold to me from a LFS and I was told that it is a Red Marlboro. As you can see it is not Red nor is it turning Red either. After 2 months waiting for it to turn, I asked the shop owner what was up. He told me to lower my pH and it would turn. I don't want to fool around with the pH but I have been tempted. From what I acn see though, it looks like a Clean Golden Pigeon Blood. Your guess is as good as mine at this point. Sorry I could not be of more help Willin, ??? :-\. If anyone out there can tell me what they think I would be very grateful. I am curious also. I don't want to mess around with the pH because my fish have become acustomed to a pH of around 7.2. I amafraid that if I change the pH they will get stressed out and I don't need that headache. See ya, George

Don't change your pH. I can't see how it would make a difference. You could feed axasthanthin to bring out whatever red tones it possesses, but why? That discus is pretty just like he is. If you want a Marlbororo buy one that is already exhibiting the color pattern.
