Albino Britstle Plec w/ Discus

I read that albino bristle nose plecs are great to keep with discus.
Wow they must be awesome cuz they are selling them at my LFS
for $100/pr (only will sell as a pair). Is that the going rate for these guys ???
I'd really like to get a couple but $$$ :'(

I wouldn't buy those. That is an outrageous price for bristlenose. Get them somewhere else. Buy 10 for $6 a peice and I'm sure you'll get a pair out of them.

Usually the albinos go for $10-$20... they are easy to pair off with a group of 6-10...

I think the expression is " get real" try less than 10 each

100 dollars is way too much...I've got a pair I'll sell for 95.

OK OK, I haven't lost my mind I thought that was way to much. Makes me wonder who's buyin' at that price. I don't want to try to breed them, that's just how they're being sold (as pairs). Guess I'll wait 'til another lfs get some and see if they are more reasonably priced.

Hi, I purchased TEN Albinos from Kenm333@ATTBI.com for $35.00 and he sent a couple extra. Great guy, very helpful.
Fun fish to keep. Most active daytime Plec I have kept.

I bought them at 1" for $5.00 each a year ago. $100 a pair is way too much.
