    Default Hair on dorsal fin

You remember the show Northern Exposure? You remember Adam's crazy wife that was always thinking she had some rare disease? There is a name for that and I think I have it, sort of. Heres a new one to go with the multiple symptons I have already posted for my Discus.

Recently noticed the top of dorsal of the female hair like filaments up to 1/2 inch long. These come right off the crest but on the male one strand comes off the side. I only use sponge filters so you can rule out filter floss caught on fin but that is what it looks like.

    Thanks again (#158)

    Well, obviously it's not hair. ??? Do you think it is a parasite or fungus filament . . . . ??? . . . . any pictures?

Are the fins intact or are they a bit frayed?
