    Default bio blend

i needed food and my wife picked up a jar of marineland labs BIO-BLEND color enhancing food. it consists of several different sizes and colors which seems like a sound concept.

the only problem is my fish ignore it. they will not even swim in it's direction. so i tried it on my tanks with bettas and african cichlids, both of whom are basically swimming garbage cans and they won't eat it. needless to say it is on the shelf now.

but it has a real nice container

I have never seen it but it is suppossed to be a decent food. As with any new food, you need to "teach" the fish to eat it. They will.
If it is good, you can always use it in your next BH mix. Cheers, Francisco.

    Denny,

I've tried a number of different kinds of foods that none of my fish will eat. Sera vegetarian/algae bits was the one I couldn't even get an oscar to sample. They looked at it and ignored it. Even my vegetarian fish hated the sight of it.

Sometimes it's better to just give up and try again!

    John
