Beautiful... Simply Beautiful.... Simply Cary.... Thanks for sharing Dave.

Actually Richie... I spoke with Cary on Sunday, he said Dave had snapped pics of the Pappa to my Gold Marlboro's he sent, and posted him as a Tangerine by mistake. So unless I mistunderstood Cary, that Tangerine Male (that's not allowed to leave) is really a Golden Marlboro.

    CARY WHERE ARE YOU ????
We need help on identification poleese... :P

Wow Dave, beautiful fishes, eye candies indeed.

So does that mean you are broke and will be selling them off in Canada? ;D

Best of luck with them and can I be first in line for the Red Rose babies? That is one beautiful fish. ;D

    Cheers,

    Chi.

Nah, I'm not broke. This is the reason I was selling a bunch of adults a couple of months ago. I wanted to give some room for new guys and get a couple of pairs going. My S/S pair has about 100 fry on their backs right now and with a lotta luck the Tangerine/Red Melon will form a pair and follow their lead. I hold my fry until they're 2" and sell them for $20 Cdn. I'll let you know when I have something for sale.

Julz, Cary said that the Tangerine males in the pictures are brothers so if the one is a Gold Marlboro then they both are. But what's in a name? Doesn't mean anything to me so long as they're round, big & healthy.

Wow! What a good deal! 100 fry for $20Cdn. You can definitely count me in! ;D LOL!

    And that's including shipping?

When do you think they will be ready? I may need some also depending on when rack is setup (without automation though)!

How sure are you that the Angels in the pic are true Altums? They appear to be the "Peruvian" form to me. A Scalare variant.

Either way, they are nice fish. I may have to sneak down there and grap a couple ...

As it turns out they are Peruvian Altum Angels.

Kewl! They looked familiar to me

Not a true Altum, but they do a great job when crossed into a domestic strain.

A link to a good classifacation page is below along with a couple pics.
