Wow Dave, beautiful fishes, eye candies indeed.
So does that mean you are broke and will be selling them off in Canada? ;D
Best of luck with them and can I be first in line for the Red Rose babies? That is one beautiful fish. ;D
Cheers,
Chi.

Re:A visit to Cary's hatchery
Nah, I'm not broke. This is the reason I was selling a bunch of adults a couple of months ago. I wanted to give some room for new guys and get a couple of pairs going. My S/S pair has about 100 fry on their backs right now and with a lotta luck the Tangerine/Red Melon will form a pair and follow their lead. I hold my fry until they're 2" and sell them for $20 Cdn. I'll let you know when I have something for sale.
Julz, Cary said that the Tangerine males in the pictures are brothers so if the one is a Gold Marlboro then they both are. But what's in a name? Doesn't mean anything to me so long as they're round, big & healthy.

Re:A visit to Cary's hatchery
How sure are you that the Angels in the pic are true Altums? They appear to be the "Peruvian" form to me. A Scalare variant.
Either way, they are nice fish. I may have to sneak down there and grap a couple ...

As it turns out they are Peruvian Altum Angels.
