Hi Brad;
I believe that 1/4 level teaspoon is about 500mg of flubendazole.

ok,
so i'm about to order my flubendazole from 4fishstuff.com but all i have is a doseage of 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gallons. So how do i convert this to the grams that they use to know how much to order? I need 22 teaspoons by the way... Also, does anyone know the conversion factor for dimetronidazole?

the lady told me at 4fishstuff.com that it's 5 grams/teaspoon....that's a little different than what you said. So, how sure are you of your answer? You probably are right...
thanks for the help,
brad
Hi Brad;
I got my Flubendazole from Jehmco and was told that the amount in a 1/4 tsp was 500 mg. This is the dosage that I used to treat flukes in my Discus and it seem to work well. They hardly ever scratch now!!
I would think that 5 grams in just one teaspoon might an overestimation?!

hey Lester, from what Al has told me it seems that you are right. I always knew I could trust Simply to give me the answer...lol
