Veggie foods

Hi all ,

I was wondering if Discus need some kind of vegatable matter in their diet. ??? Any imput would be appreicated.

Contrary to what I've posted before, yes. A little. I use spirulina in my beef mix, rather than spinach or bananas or other junk (IMO) some folk put in their mixes.
Altho' Discus have had vegie matter found in their stomach after autopsy, in my Discus it came out as it went in if you see what I mean. The spinach that is.
I think that discus eat animals that eat algea and vegie stuff, and so get the balance through that. IMO
