ok i'm trying my hand at breeding our wonderful kings and its not going so hot. i came right out of breeding betta (omg soooo much easier) i jumped right into discus and packed up all my betta stuff. well tonight, i thought i'd get my mind off discus and go back into my old betta habits. man, the stress the discus put on me for not doing exactly what i say (i may be a little impacient but u know what i mean) was really getting to me. compared to the discus betta ar like guppies. all ya do is set up the tank, throw em in and there they go (providing the pre-conditioning was undergone)! something good that the discus owner should do is take a break once in a while, go back to another forgotten hobby. it can still even be about fish...like my betta thing. just don't think about the discus for a few hours and do something completely different. cuz if ur like me ur obsessed with the kings by now, which is probbly true cuz ur reading this right now! so get ur mind somewhere else. unless of course ur not stressed at all and having good success already. this is for all the tired people out there with discus that wont pair or pairs that eat their children and so on....
