    hello,
well i got some Hydro-Sponge filters #5 from jehmco.com and they have been great. so far the best price around and you can even save more money when you purchased 12 sponges. Right now they working great on 3 of breeding tanks.
    good luck,
    hank

for the breeding tank I like the square flat ones as the fry are less attracted to them. Otherwise I have no preference.

I also use the Hydro sponges and they have been working just fine for me.

    Hi Pascale....

I am using Azoo sponges in all my tanks. Have been very happy so far.

I too like the Hydro- sponge, but I find Azoo Oxygen Plus filters a bit sturdier! Frank

    Oh and air hose connection.

I also use prefilter sponges (square and round) on my AC's and Emperor.

    that was quick...LOL

thanks so much for the replies everyone.

I am ordering them from the US. even with freight, they are so much cheaper there than in australia. I can get 10-12 for the price of one.
