Help! Long White Gill Worms!?!?

One of my discus died today and when I pulled it out of the tank I noticed a Long (1&quot, very thin white worm hanging out of it's gill.I never noticed it before, so I'm assuming that it started coming out after the fish died!

Can anyone help me on this? I'd like to medicate the rest of the fish before anymore die.
