Default a few small white spots

I have a 65g w/ 7, 3 inch BD. I noticed last night that one has three "parasites"
on its bottom lip. They look like three grains of salt stuck on the bottom lip. A few
of the others have 2 or three "salt-like" spots on their tails. I currently do daily 50% wc with the temp at 85. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

    Hi Carl:
I'm at work and don't have any of my fish books - could it be fish lice? If so - treatment might be formalin, fluke tab type of medication.

    Carol,

It could be fish lice, how do I go about doing a treatment? Do I continue with daily WC during it? The tank is a 65g, is it Ok to lower the water volume in order to save on the cost of meds needed? Will salt and higher temp help? Thanks for your help.
