Taiwan style aquascaping...
Someone before asked me about Taiwanese style aquascaping and I said they do more terracing, often use the decorations (like little animals), etc... Here are some examples from some entries to Amano's Aquascaping contest in 2001. In general, I've found that the Taiwanese style usually focus on a shorter heighth plantings - I guess they do a lot of trimming.
In Taipei, Taiwan, one of the shops I visited (wish I took some photos of their tanks), is the Hi Chance Aquarium:

I'm used to seeing terracing from back to front, but never left to right. It is a new & appealing look to me. Amano is the planted aquarium guru!
