Actually it was Rod who told all the interesting Schmidt-Focke stuff,

I think Rod is the doctor's biggest fan, when I first met Rod he showed me some pictures of a strain he was working on, it was almost like the doctor's fish 10 years later, He uses alot of S-f's principles when selecting and pairing his fish.

Hi Jim,

I tried to get another copy several years ago as mine is looking rather old these days, still in good basic condition but my mother bought this copy for me in the late 70's and it is really showing. TFH Australia told me it is no longer in print, but if Don is right perhaps there are still some around. the book id code is ISBN 0-87666-157-6. This book has 768 pages of fantastic info, some out of date for sure but still a great read.
