Put Fish down

Hi all
I would like to know what is the best way to put a fish down, Cull and why.

You'll probably get many different responses to this.

Little discus I freeze in a cup of water. I can't chop off their head or slam them against the wall. I've heard of vodka and clove oil to euthanize large discus. . . . .

I think it was Jim Quarles who said he WACKED em' on the floor....Im sure it works well, quick and painless....I'm not the "wacking" type though...never tried it.

You might think this is harsh but beleive me it's harder on you then the fish, personaly freezing them is a slow sleep that is prolonged, here it is....... flick them on the top rear of the head like you flick somones ear but as hard as you can, one good flick and it's over they feel nothing, just like we kill trout with a priest!

Some people on this forum suggested the M16 method.
I wander who they are...

The M16 wont work because emmm I dont have one ;D
