observed some white film over heater cord and suction cups of heater, this breeding tank , male is with bbs eating fry, this film appears when I started adding tap water in tank, what film is this? ???

Bacteria and proteins in the water column. Proteins stick to the plastics... and then bacteria grows on this.. Its pretty harmless...Just wipe down the surfaces and it should be fine.

. . . .and certain types of plastic attract it more than others. I've noticed the Via Aqua heater cords and suction cups are really bad

thank you both I was scared , btw do you any b/h recipe for fry and when to start , I have brewer's yeast and spriluna powder, today I saw them nibbling on frozen bloodworm given to dad, is this mean time to transfer them in 5 gal tank, today is day 9th for them, thanks

5 gallon tank gets dirty too fast. I like at least 29 gallon for fry. Is dad ill? I keep them with dad until 21 days freeswimming.

I do have 29 g tank, dad is not ill he is in fine shape, but who knows the mood, I will give four more days to fry and then transfer them in 29 g

I use R/O poly line for My filters
it never grows on it like the silicone air line tubing!
