Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution;

I'm a K-12 Educator specializing in the identification and enrichment of gifted and talented students. And during the summer I teach a course entitled, "Electronic Textiles."
My husband is currently a stay-at-home dad. Thankfully he is willing to do some discus care too. I have two children: Elizabeth 7, and Ben 3. Elizabeth is fun because she is taking on the fish keeping hobby herself. She has a community tank in her room that she mostly takes care of on her own. Ben doesn't sit still long enough to be interested in fish, but he has taught our discus to not be so skittish in a very short time. Between the two of them, work, and the graduate school courses I am taking I have a full work load.
Varied background :-) Hope to retire in 58 Months. Park Ranger, State of Florida. At 62, finally, after years of searching, love my Job !!!

My hobbies are gardening and plants. I love to grow about anything. I have several small citrus trees that I raise outdoors during the summer and indoors during the beautiful Northeast Ohio snow belt winters.
I have been into tropical fish since I was nine. Use to belong to several clubs. Help start one club.
I have always loved discus and after being out of fish for fourteen years, fell back into it hook, line, and sinker earlier last year.
Other than that, I am a really boring person.
I am an Actor
I started a few years back after I retired from my corporate job, started as mostly something to do - taking classes - meeting people, but, a little over a year ago I was signed with one of the top talent agencies in Chicago, partly because of my talent, and partly because of my age and type. Anyway, I've appeared in several web based commercials, corporate training videos, and a student film in which I played the lead role of "Eli the Great" (magician) - the film won the "Audience Choice Award" last fall
The really cool thing is I've now booked a role on the TV series "Chicago Fire" - yes - I'm going to be on TV!!! How cool is that!!! I'm scheduled to shoot my scene 2/18/16 and suspect the show will run two to three weeks after that, so, if you watch Chicago Fire make sure you keep your eyes open towards the beginning of the show - I'll be the old man talking to the Alderman about fixing traffic lights lol The title of my role is literally "Elderly Man" hahahaha
