    Hi Steve,
Sorry to hear whats been going on.

Are the fish showing any other symptoms? Are any breathing rapidly or darting around the tank? How long have you had them? How are they eating? Are they eating? How long has it been since they were 100%? How long ago did the first one die? How many did you start with and how many are left?

Sorry for all the questions but I have been going through a similar experience.

    Keith

    Carol,
Fish are about 2-3 inch and I have had them 5 weeks.
All water test are OK. Did have ammo. spike
about 10 days ago when L water co. increase leavels,
but I caught it right after water change.
Fish have been hiding and come out to eat only
if no one is close to tank , But I think that is because
    of size of tank.

    Thanks,
    Steve

If they are eating a little and do not have white stringy feces then Hex-a-mit probably isn't the right med (not that I know what is the right med).

Have they been like this from the beginning or just the last 2 weeks? In other words were they ever healthy juveniles running to the front of the tank to eat?

Any other symptoms besides shyness, reduced appetite and death?

    Carol,
That is about it. They have never ran out and grabed the
food , but I have been feeding CBW and they knew they
    would be there all day.
