I got 4 of these "firestones" or whachamacallit red pigeons from Jack a few months back. They are very striking and get even more impressive as they grow larger. Bodies are very round as well. They've become a few of my favorites in my tank. I picked mine up personally since I live in Chicago.

Jack, those are some gorgeous looking Firestone Discus.

I may consider a drive down to Chi-town this weekend to pick some up.

If you don't mind my asking, who is the breeder and how many do you currently have to select from?

    Any other Discus varieties available?

    Thanks - Mark

Firestone, Red Dragons, Checkerboards, etc. I think we can all agree that they are all forms of Pigeon Blood. Nice fish anyways. Besides I'm not sure I would want a fish by the name Firestone.

I picked up four 4"-4.5" of these Checkerboard Red PB this past weekend from Jack Yuan. They are even nicer than in the picture, nice round bodies, small red eyes, colorful checkerboard pattern & pepper free.

It was well worth the drive down to Chi-town. Jack was a pleasure to deal with, he even tripled bagged my adoptees with oxygen for my 2 hour trip back to Wisconsin.

Also adopted some hi-fin Blue Diamonds and Super Sanmerahs. All nice round shapes and small red eyes.

He currently has a good supply of pepper free Red Marlboros and Gold Discus posted for sale on Aquabid. The fish look even better in person.

Hope too post some pics in a week or so after they have settled into their new home.
