Need a system to dose liquid plant fertilizer
Hi,
I am looking for a reliable, automated system that will add liquid plant fertilizer to my tank at the same time each day. I want to add it right after the water change.
Is anyone familiar with Kent AquaDose? Is it reliable? Is there a better system than a gravity feed?
Thanks,
John R

Dupla makes a good liquid doser. The Kent gravity system is good too, but you'd need five different jugs to get all the nutrients dosed at the proper amounts.

The Dupla Dosing Alpha looks great, but at more than GB200 it is expensive compared to the Kent at about $20.
Is there something in the middle, or maybe a used Dupla for sale?

Try ebay, aquabid, or some other similar auction house.

Hehe! Brewster gave me this link for an automated doser! It is cheap and simple! I have not had the chance yet to set it up but here it is:

I found several brands of liquid dosers. The Eheim Liquidoser is the right size. At $85 it is more than I want to spend, but maybe it will show up on eBay.
Thanks for the do-it-yourself option. It is interesting. Something else to think about.
