Mix 4 ounces (120 grams) of crystals per 1 gallon of water. Then use 1 drop per gallon.

Re:antichlorine solution
Hi all,
How about a pool supply store? I recently picked up a FREE kit of Baquacil from Leslie's pool and it had two jars of Sodium Thio Pentahydrate crystals. I didn't need to use them on the pool, sooooooooooo it's time for some experimentation. I will be chatting with my Chem-bud at work about this and how to test it. Chlorine/Chloramine neutralization possibly. I would think the pool stores would have LARGE quantities to neutralize Chlorine for alternative types of treatment options. Just a thought.

Hi all,
"Mix 4 ounces (120 grams) of crystals per 1 gallon of water. Then use 1 drop per gallon."
Would it be wrong if I assume that 1 drop is 1 ml ?
Thanks Ronald

Re:antichlorine solution
Yes.
One drop does not equal one ml. But I imagine that before too long you could come to a safe estimate on just how many 'drops' it will take to cure whatever volume of water you need.

Re:antichlorine solution
Hmmm. check the pool store first. Nothing. Called a couple of places and nothng......Could be that they did not know what I was taking about.
I also bought an dropper from the pharmacy and they have some measurments on the side. 1 drop does equal 1ml at least according to this.
Also I don't have a good way to measure 4 onces.
Am I correct to assume that 125grams is equal to 125ml?
