All my visi-therms have condensation inside the glass tube. For me they last about a year before I throw them out.

They are my favorites right now. And you can even get the suction cup installed without becoming a contortionist now! Frank :

I've had some for over three years with no problems. They have all had condensation in them for the past two years but it doesn't seem to harm them

i have used visi therm heaters and my opionion is, is that they arnt as acurate as the ebo jagar heaters. In my hatchery the ebo jagar heater is in all of my tanks i they seem to be the best heater that i would recomend.

Even tho I've switched to Via Aqua titanium heaters with control & probe & love'm, have several Visi-therm that I like & have used for many years! The one Ebo that I bought for "discus" doesn't heat high enough, so I use it in the r/o water tub & it's still working, just not hot, lol, Dottie ;D ;D ;D

    Hi!

I have Visi too. I like it. The only concern is that the heater can not go up above 90F. For those whose Visi heaters have condensation, you can call to the tech line and they may be able to replace it. I had the condensation problem with the heaters and they sent me new ones.

I'm tired of the Ebo's. I don't think you should have to buy something brand new and have to take it apart to recalibrate. > I like the price on the Visi-Therms and just wanted to get some feedback before I pluck down the jack to buy several.

Have been using them for the past 9-10 years
wouldn't use anything else. I like the new ones the
Visa-Therm Deluxe with the click stops. Nifty holder they
    have now also.
