    I got mine from LFS. Hadn't had the time or nerve to try it yet though. It's a Marineland product that has to be kept refrigerated.

    Got mine from the lfs - they keep it refrigerated. It is expensive but it works. In 24 hours you are ready to go!

    Can I ask a question?? How can bacteria that needs food and air survive in a bottle with the top closed and no air getting in or food for that matter? Is this something new, does it have a shelf life.

    Refrigeration slows down the metabolism of the bacteria (do bacteria have metabolisms - at any rate, it sorta enters them into stasis). And, yes, it has a shelf life.

    When my LFS was deciding whether or not they could sell/endorse, they cycles a 175gal in less than 48 hours. Overloaded it with fish, and kept ammonia and nitrites zeroed, so ...

    There is now a very similar prodcut being sold in the UK as Biospira is not avail in the UK it is called Bactinetta
    my LFS now sells this and they are Very Impressed by this product ...

    Hi!

    when you buy the product, you have to check the expiration date. The closer is the worse and do not over dose.
