    is calcium carbonate ,,chalk.the stuff we use on chalk boards ??? ???

    I think so . . . . I think gypsum (used for chalk lines on baseball fields) is calcium too.

    cheers carol,,i am collecting rain water from the garage roof in a 200 ltr plastic tub i have a bucket on top with floss and peat in with holes drilled ,i tested tonight at work and tds was67.8ppm,the conductivity was 136.4, ph 6.39 ,i havent done gh and kh yet do you think this will be ok it as rained non stop for 2 days now i threw the first tub of water away get rid of dirt in air and roof ,
