Default Welcome to Our newest Section!....

    Hi Everyone,
Through-out this board we have a huge selection of posts on Wild Discus, their habitat, strains, ecology issues, economic issues, and breeding experiences.

There is a strong interest in understanding wilds, where they come from, and the future of the wild trade on the boards, so I thought it would be useful to have a dedicated section to discuss these issues, and truelly learn about these important aspects of our hobby.

Over the next few weeks I will be going thru the board and moving all our interviews and posts on these matters to here.

Please feel free to help expand the information contained in this section.

    take care,
    al

Question: Is there a source (importer) for wild fish directly from the wild?
see may breeders have wild verieties captivly bread available. would there be a difference between the original wild and a tank riased offspring?
-if no, why continue to collect from the wild? surely all wild strains are represented in captive stocks.
