How to determine if it is a male or female?

I need some help with how to find out the difference in appearance between male and female discus so I can try to find two that will make a pair without buying 10 male discus without even knowing.

The only way to be 100% sure that you have a pair is to see the female laying and and the male fertilizing them..
There are accouple saying like the head of the male has a little lump that the female dosn't have, and by the fins that the male has them more pointy, but again the only way to know for sure is to see them spawn.
