    Default lighting

I'm trying everything I know to get 2 "pairs" spawning.
Both spend all day nibbling and cleaning the pvc pipe but
    nothing happens.
I was wondering about the light period. Right now the light comes on at around 8 am and off around 9 pm or so.
Would it be better to leave the light on 24 hrs/day or does it really matter?
I should mention that both have laid eggs in the past and I have had wrigglers rom 1 pair that ended up being a meal
for the parents and I am 95% sure the other pair is m and f. But it's been 5 months and no action.

Lighting doesn't make a difference. I suggest you make up a mesh to protect the eggs if they were to spawn again.
At my age, everything is irritating.

May be 2 males. Or are these the 2 that had wigglers before?

Is having the light on 24/ hrs/day detrimental to a new spawn which has been
on the pvc tube since this pm , around 12 noon, and look all a healthy reddish
    color
and being really tended too, finally.
I guess my question is should I turn off the light or leave it on until they hatch?

Light has no effect on spawn development. As a rule, I keep my tank lights off.
At my age, everything is irritating.
